Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glens Falls Indians (Glens Falls, NY) and the visiting Maine-Endwell Spartans (Endwell, NY), saw Glens Falls's basketball squad hold off Maine-Endwell by a tally of 60-55.
With the victory, Glens Falls improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to confront the Spartans in a Section 2 Foothills challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Queensbury lost 60-58 in their recent league challenge against Johnstown (Johnstown, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY) in a Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Maine-Endwell will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Bears come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 71-54 league loss to Elmira (Elmira, NY).
