The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), 52-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Comets (19-4) will now prepare for their test against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, El Paso-Gridley got by LeRoy (LeRoy, IL), 67-55, in a league test.
