Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ), 46-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kearny upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Kardinals travel to University (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 0-13.
Next up, the Maroon Raiders clash with the Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Nutley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 50-46 league win over Weequahic (Newark, NJ).
