In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), by a margin of 52-44.
The Lemont HS (20-6) will now prepare for their outing against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Mustangs go into the South Suburban outing with a 14-12 record. In their last outing, Evergreen Park was topped by Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL), 66-63, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Andrew for a SouthWest Suburban - Red outing on Tuesday, January 31. Lincoln-Way Central will clash with a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 66-50 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 13-11.
