The Litchfield Dragons basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 45 in the Dragons league triumph on Saturday.
The Dragons now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Litchfield will meet a Rockets team coming off a 66-51 non-league win over Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 9-7.
The Lakers (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Montevideo was routed by West Central Area (Barrett, MN), 55-46, in a league contest.
