Illinois High School Basketball - Morton can't hold off Manual

The Manual Rams basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Morton Potters to 52 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomington for a Big Twelve contest on Friday, February 3. Manual will battle a Purple Raiders team coming off a 72-53 non-league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Purple Raiders record now stands at 5-18.
The Potters (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets come into the Mid-Illini contest with a 2-19 record. In their last contest, Limestone was nudged by Washington (Washington, IL), 52-49, in a league contest.
