North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Andrew upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Lions in a Grand River bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 11-8. St. Joseph Christian lost 74-53 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MO)

Next up, the Dragons play the East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO) in a KCI bout, on Friday, February 3. Mid-Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
