Mississippi High School Basketball - New Albany thwarts Nettleton

The New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), 80-70 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (21-5) will now prepare for their test against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars go into the 4A Region 2 test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, South Pontotoc notched a victory over North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS), 76-42, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 20-4 record. They play next when they host Amory for a 3A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 31.
