Indiana High School Basketball - South Central succumbs to New Prairie

The New Prairie Cougars topped the host South Central Satellites basketball team by a final score of 63-54 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern Indiana game, on Thursday, February 2. New Prairie will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 58-33 non-league loss to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN).
With the defeat, South Central moves to 4-11 on the year. The Satellites travel to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to face the Cherokees in a Porter County game on Thursday, February 2. The Cherokees enter the game with a record of 14-3. Morgan Township won 45-32 in their recent non-league game against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN)
