The Newark Academy Minutemen basketball team (Livingston, NJ), was toppled 57-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ)
The Minutemen now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morris Knolls for a non-league battle on Monday, January 30. West Morris Mendham will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 56-23 league win over Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
The Minutemen (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Barringer was toppled by Livingston (Livingston, NJ), 41-39, in a non-league battle.
