Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars (Pembroke Pines, FL), 54-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Palmetto upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Panthers host Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Booker T. Washington lost 41-40 in their recent non-league bout against North Broward Prep (Coconut Creek, FL)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Deerfield Beach Bucks (Deerfield Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Pembroke Pines Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Bucks go into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 77-63 non-league win over Cypress Bay (Weston, FL).
