California High School Basketball - Rio Linda trounced by Placer

The Placer Hillmen routed the visiting Rio Linda Knights basketball team by a final score of 79-45 in Saturday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Hillmen confront the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley battle, on Wednesday, February 1. Placer will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the battle with a 18-6 record after their 47-33 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).

The Knights (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Patriots come into the Golden Empire League battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Pioneer was overwhelmed by Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA), 76-42, in a league battle.
