Illinois High School Basketball - Proviso East can't hold off Proviso West

The Proviso West Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Proviso East Pirates to 68 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 29. Proviso West will battle a Eagles team coming off a 88-41 non-league win over Back of the Yards College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
The Pirates (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs come into the West Suburban - Gold contest with a 5-12 record.
