Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), 76-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Reagan upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Raiders travel to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to play the Titans in a 4A Conference 56 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 11-8. West Forsyth won 78-55 in their recent league bout against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 52 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Watauga will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 56-42 league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).
