Alabama High School Basketball - Rogers can't hold off Shoals Christian

The Shoals Christian Flame basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Rogers Pirates to 64 in the Flame non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Flame now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tharptown for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Shoals Christian will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-53 league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.

The Pirates (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lauderdale County was nudged by Loretto (Loretto, TN), 40-35, in a non-league contest.
