The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team (Rogue River, OR), was routed 65-37 in Saturday's league battle with the host South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR)
The Lancers now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sutherlin for a 3A Far West battle on Monday, January 30. South Umpqua will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-42 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-16.
The Chieftains (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the 3A Far West battle with a 15-2 record.
