North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg can't hold off T.W. Andrews

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 61-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC)

The Red Raiders now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Stokes for a 2A Conference 34 battle on Tuesday, January 31. T.W. Andrews will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 66-59 league win over Morehead (Eden, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-8.

The Sabres (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the 4A Conference 49 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Ardrey Kell was nudged by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 57-49, in a league battle.
