Washington High School Basketball - Zillah trounces Wahluke

The Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) basketball crushed the host Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA), 69-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Leopards (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Wapato (Wapato, WA). The Wolves go into the 1A South Central - West test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Wapato walloped Royal (Royal City, WA), 64-58, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Kiona-Benton for a 1A South Central - East test on Tuesday, January 31. Wahluke will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 70-46 non-league loss to Naches Valley (Naches, WA). The Bears record now stands at 6-11.
