Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West York Area Bulldogs (York, PA) and the visiting Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), saw West York Area's basketball squad overcome Wyomissing by a tally of 59-47.

With the victory, West York Area improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host New Oxford (New Oxford, PA) to confront the Colonials in a York-Adams 2 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Colonials come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. New Oxford lost 61-54 in their recent league challenge against Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets (Topton, PA) in a Berks County 3 challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Wyomissing will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bullets come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 69-59 non-league win over Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA).
