Illinois High School Basketball - Westminster Christian tipped by Westlake Christian Academy

The Westlake Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Westminster Christian Warriors to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenosha Christian Life for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Westlake Christian Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 63-53 league win over University School of Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

The Warriors (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Sentinels enter the non-league contest with a 9-16 record. In their last contest, Westmont was nudged by Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
