Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 59-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Granada upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Matadors travel to Livermore (Livermore, CA) to play the Cowboys in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 18-5.

Next up, the Gaels play the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Dublin will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 40-32 league win over San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
