The Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Green Giants (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 2-22 record. In their last test, Richmond-Burton was tipped by Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 67-32, in a league test.
The Hilltoppers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to North Shore Country Day for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Elgin Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 58-24 league win over Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 14-6.
