The Armstrong Trojans basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Urbana University Illineks to 22 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoopeston for a Vermilion Valley contest on Monday, January 30. Armstrong will battle a Cornjerkers team coming off a 33-29 league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Cornjerkers record now stands at 13-12.

The Illineks (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Cyclones enter the East Central Illinois contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian was defeated by Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 58-12, in a non-league contest.
