The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders basketball team (Ashton, IL), was overwhelmed 58-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL)
The Cardinals now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a Big Northern battle on Wednesday, February 1. Stillman Valley will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-9.
The Raiders (9-16) will now prepare for their battle against South Beloit (South Beloit, IL). The Sobos come into the non-league battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, South Beloit trounced Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL), 38-24, in a league battle.
