New Jersey High School Basketball - Park Ridge thwarts Becton

The Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ), 43-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Owls (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ). The Warriors go into the test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Waldwick went down by Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ), 53-24, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host St. Mary for a North Jersey - Meadowlands B test on Monday, January 30. Becton will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 62-11 league loss to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 0-7.
