The Pewaukee Pirates basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Brookfield East Spartans to 44 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pius XI Catholic for a Woodland - West contest on Tuesday, January 31. Pewaukee will battle a Popes team coming off a 60-47 league win over Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI). The Popes record now stands at 16-2.

The Spartans (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI). The Lancers enter the Greater Metro contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Brookfield Central was defeated by Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, WI), 68-48, in a league contest.
