Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glen Ridge upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Ridgers host Arts (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Jaguars in a Super Essex - Independence bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Arts lost 32-7 in their recent non-league bout against Kent Place (Summit, NJ)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 58-41 non-league win over Verona (Verona, NJ).
