The Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Nazareth Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 50-36 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Friars/Pandas go into the Philadelphia Catholic test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic went down by Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 58-12, in a league test.

The now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynedd Mercy Academy for a Catholic Academies test on Tuesday, January 31. Nazareth Academy will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 40-37 non-league win over Central Bucks East (Doylestown, PA). The Monarchs record now stands at 16-3.
