The Conneaut Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrews Osborne Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Conneaut will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 64-31 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-7.

The Falcons (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Girard (Girard, OH). The Indians enter the Northeast Eight contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Girard was defeated by Struthers (Struthers, OH), 74-63, in a league contest.
