Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Days Creek Wolves (Days Creek, OR) and the visiting Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR), saw Days Creek's basketball squad overcome Mohawk by a tally of 31-17.

With the victory, Days Creek improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR) to confront the Bobcats in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, February 3. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-6.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR) in a 1A Mountain West challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Mohawk will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record.
