Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dora Falcons (Dora, MO), 49-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Springfield Catholic upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Hollister (Hollister, MO) to play the Tigers in a Big 8 bout on Monday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Hollister lost 54-39 in their recent league bout against Reeds Spring (Reeds Spring, MO)

Next up, the Falcons play the Norwood Pirates (Norwood, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Dora will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
