The Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) basketball knocked off the host Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI), 61-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Duluth East notched a victory over Bemidji (Bemidji, MN), 58-55, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Menomonie for a Big Rivers test on Tuesday, January 31. Eau Claire North will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 67-44 league win over Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-7.
