In Saturday's non-league match, the host Edon Bombers basketball team scored a tight 51-46 triumph over the Edgerton Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Bombers meet the North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH) in a Buckeye Border match, on Thursday, February 2. Edon will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-16 record after their 47-19 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, OH).
With the defeat, Edgerton moves to 2-15 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ayersville (Defiance, OH) to meet the Pilots in a Green Meadows match on Thursday, February 2. The Pilots enter the match with a record of 13-4. Ayersville lost 50-49 in their recent league match against Antwerp (Antwerp, OH)
