Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The travel to Beach (Beach, ND) to clash with the Buccaneers in a B Region 7 bout on Monday, January 30. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Beach won 44-30 in their recent non-league bout against Wibaux (Wibaux, MT)

Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND) in a B Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Killdeer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
