The Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ), 51-8 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Kardinals go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record.
The Indians now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Tech for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Weequahic will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 38-27 league win over St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
