In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Mingus Marauders basketball team scored a decisive 58-27 triumph over the Lake Havasu Knights.
In their next game, the Marauders meet the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon match, on Wednesday, February 1. Mingus will attempt to move on its 14-11 season record. The Badgers enter the match with a 7-15 record after their 72-32 league loss to Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ).
With the defeat, Lake Havasu moves to 0-17 on the year. The Knights travel to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ) to meet the Scorpions in a 5A Desert West match on Monday, January 30. The Scorpions enter the match with a record of 12-12. Desert Edge won 52-33 in their recent league match against Westview (Avondale, AZ)
