In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), by a count of 55-52.

The Lions (23-4) will now prepare for their outing against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans go into the West Suburban - Silver outing with a 17-7 record. In their last outing, Downers Grove North held off Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 56-18, in a league outing.
