With the win, Maize upgrades its record to 2-10 on the season. The Eagles host Derby (Derby, KS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Derby won 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against Heights (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Lancers play the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Shawnee Mission East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to Maize South (Wichita, KS).
