The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers basketball team (Paxton, IL), was overwhelmed 63-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Plains for a Sangamo battle on Thursday, February 2.
The Panthers (8-15) will now prepare for their battle against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the Illini Prairie battle with a 20-5 record. In their last battle, St. Thomas More trounced Athens (Athens, IL), 48-32, in a non-league battle.
