Nebraska High School Basketball - Maywood/Hayes Center falls to Southern Valley

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Southern Valley Eagles basketball team scored a good 54-39 triumph over the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 30. Southern Valley will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Swedes enter the match with a 13-3 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Minden (Minden, NE).

With the defeat, Maywood/Hayes Center moves to 17-1 on the year. The Wolves travel to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, February 3. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-12.
