The Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), 56-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rustlers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Winner (Winner, SD). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Winner went down by Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 54-45, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Iroquois/Lake Preston for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Wessington Springs will encounter a squad coming off a 58-38 league loss to James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The record now stands at 5-8.
