Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Shore Vikings (Brooklyn, NY) and the host Paul VI Eagles (Haddonfield, NJ), saw South Shore's basketball squad hold off Paul VI by a count of 51-47.
With the victory, South Shore upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 29. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Bishop Ireton lost 67-50 in their recent league challenge against St. John's (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Camden Panthers (Camden, NJ) in a Olympic - National challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Paul VI will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 45-36 non-league win over Eastern (Voorhees, NJ).
