In Saturday's non-league match, the host Shore Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 53-47 triumph over the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Shore Regional will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 17-1 record after their 68-59 league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
With the defeat, Point Pleasant Boro moves to 4-12 on the year. The Panthers host St. Rose (Belmar, NJ) to meet the Purple Roses in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 31. The Purple Roses enter the match with a record of 14-3. St. Rose won 67-35 in their recent non-league match against Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ)
