Colorado High School Basketball - Sanford crushes South Park

January 28, 2023: Fairplay, CO 80440

Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Park Burros (Fairplay, CO), 46-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sanford upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO) to play the Titans in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks bout on Friday, February 3. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Burros play the Center Vikings (Center, CO) in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks bout, on Friday, February 3. South Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 37-30 league win over Sargent (Monte Vista, CO).
