West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), 53-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Mesa upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 34-31 non-league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).
