With the win, Simeon upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 5-6.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Senn Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 6. Taft will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 42-3 non-league win over Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL).
