In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI), by a margin of 3-2.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. Brighton will clash with a Rocks team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Canton (Canton, MI). The Rocks record now stands at 21-6.
The Redmen (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Copper Kings enter the non-league challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Calumet was edged by De Pere (De Pere, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
