The Winchendon Wapiti ice hockey squad scored 2 points and restricted the host Hebron Academy Lumberjacks to 1 in the Wapiti league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, Winchendon moves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wapiti travel to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT) to face the Saints in a contest on Sunday, January 29. The Saints go into the contest with a record of 8-11. Canterbury School won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT)

The Lumberjacks now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host North Yarmouth Academy for a contest on Monday, January 30. Hebron Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 12-8.
