In Saturday's league challenge, the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) ice hockey team the host Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA), by a margin of 3-1.
The Pelicans now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williston Northampton for a challenge on Wednesday, February 1. Loomis Chaffee School will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-11.
The Big Blue (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Big Green enter the challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Deerfield Academy tipped Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 2-1, in a league challenge.
