Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 51-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Mustangs host California (San Ramon, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 15-6.

Next up, the Dons clash with the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Amador Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Matadors go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 58-33 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA).
